Recycling
Tower Oaks has teamed up with CCRA to obtain a recycling container to be placed in the swimming pool parking lot.  At this time, we
will recycle paper products only and proceeds will be split between CCRA and TOCC.  Note:  The container is not in place as of this
writing (May 24) but will be there soon.  We will send email to residents when we get notice that the container has been installed, so if
you have not submitted your email address, or if you have a new email address since 2008, please send it to
betty@toweroaks.org .

Street Lighting
In response to requests by many residents, there is an effort underway to have more street lights installed in our neighborhood and more
info will be available on this site very soon.  The electric bill will continue to be funded by dues paid by civic club members and our civic
club has agreed to pay a portion of the installation of the light poles.  However, a greater portion of the installation must be paid by
residents of our neighborhood. For more information and to contribute to the street light fund, please contact Maureen Taylor at
281-469-1942 or
maureentocc@yahoo.com

The State of Texas passed a law on September 1, 1989 that affects all properties in Tower Oaks that were subdivided after that date.
Please see the new code, below, that requires homeowners to have at least 1-acre in order to have a sewage system (now called On-Site
Sewage Facility (OSSFs).
